The Work-Related activity team includes about 17 of us and we use the Collsys software to track, monitor and record all information in one place.

We have 8 campuses and over 22,000 students at our college so a system like the Collsys software is what we need and we currently use it to match students to opportunities and use the reporting functions to generate reports for DFE about work experience placements. Our plan is for 200 staff members to use the system in the future and to ensure each person uses it effectively for their job role.

After some initial research, we started speaking to the Collsys team who showed us the demo and we started using the software for industry placements. The team helped us to tailor the system to what we need and as we worked through it, we discovered more that we could use it for.
Once the platform was introduced, we started using it for work experiences as well as creating job descriptions, monitoring how long students were on placements, managing multiple placements and reporting.
The reporting is really, really good, we can share information with other departments and keep information centralised. The team have helped us use the system and have been really responsive to any questions and our needs - it's one of the main reasons why we chose the Collsys software.

The Collsys software is an easily accessible and extremely user friendly CRM. It is a cross platform function allowing the application to be used across a variety of devices including tablets, Apple Macs, Windows and interactive whiteboards in which we have recently invested.
